This study examined the effectiveness of a multi-disciplinary approach in addressing the school non-attendance of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary students in Masbate City. Anchored on Social Ecological Theory, Human Capital Theory, and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the study used a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design. Data were gathered from 57 parent-respondents selected through purposive sampling using a researcher-made and expert-validated questionnaire. Frequency, percentage, weighted mean, ranking, and Pearson Product–Moment Correlation Coefficient were used to analyze the data. Findings showed that most respondents were older, female, married, elementary graduates, engaged mainly in farming, earning below ₱5,000 monthly, and supporting two to three 4Ps child-beneficiaries. The multi-disciplinary approach was perceived as effective, particularly in terms of social welfare support, family support, health-related support, and academic support. It was also found effective in improving school attendance, academic performance, parental involvement, and behavioral adjustment, although behavioral adjustment received a comparatively lower rating. The major factors affecting school non-attendance were community, personal, socio-economic, school-related, and family-related factors, including poverty, unsafe environments, low motivation, bullying, family conflicts, and health concerns. A moderate positive and significant relationship was found between the effectiveness of the multi-disciplinary approach and the factors affecting non-attendance. The study recommends strengthened feeding programs, health checkups, attendance monitoring, home visitation, parental seminars, anti-bullying measures, transportation or school supply support, and regular inter-agency coordination. The study supports SDG 4, SDG 1, SDG 3, SDG 10, SDG 16, and SDG 17 by promoting inclusive education, poverty reduction, learner well-being, reduced inequality, institutional coordination, and stakeholder partnership. Its sustainability impact lies in strengthening educational, socio-economic, public health, governance, institutional, and community-based support systems for vulnerable learners.
